Rv Parks Los Angeles Roadtrip Around USA.?

Roadtrip around USA.? - rv parks los angeles

In July 2013 to make another couple, my husband and I are planning an RV trip around the United States.

We intend to lead all U.S. borders. Here are the judgments that we believe to date:

Los Angeles
Las Vegas
Grand Canyon
Dallas
Miami
Orlando
Washington, DC
Atlantic City
New York
Chicago
Seattle
San Francisco
Then return to Los Angeles to fly home (Sydney, Australia)

We do not know how long we need, we may think one months, maybe a month and a half.

So basically I have 2 questions ...
1) Does anyone have an idea about the places we keep on the road? Tourist attractions? Hidden Places? Good / RV Parks cheap? Or should we still a few places that are not really interesting?
2) How long do you think this should be in the U.S.?

Since there are 4 of us in a position to drive the vehicle, driving at night used to be a problem, but it is something we like to avoid.

Suggestions would be very useful!

THANKS

As a first answer suggests, make sure you know the distances. For example, in Los Angeles to Miami about 2,800 miles from Miami to New York is about 1300 km, New York, and Chicago is about 800, from Chicago to SF is approximately 2200 SF and Los Angeles, about 400 The sum is less than 7500 miles if you take the most direct routes and would be more than 150 hours driving time. If you spend traveling to the United States for a month, more than one quarter of Drving, comes from one place to another in the RV.

Please do not try to go to sleep at night instead of stopping. It is a recipe for trouble.

Many travel guide for the United States, and research. Try to plan for the unit to a maximum of two days between destinations, and try to go more than a day to any destination. It is best to go when traveling the fate of the more time the whole time. A journey that "if it must be Tuesday ________" is exhausted after his return spot and go constantly, until the party is over.

MAke sure that you really see things that you have interest, and any impressions of entertainment media. For example, Texas has a mystique of Hollywood than real life, will probably not match.

There are national parks in the United States and each state has a system of parks. Not all offers RV camping, but many do. There are also many private camp.

Every state and most cities have a tourist information center. and a Web site that the majority of mail information and free passes to you upon request.

Each state manages the rest areas on motorways. They are usually only in the status line and provide a space free to stop bathing and free tickets + more informaiton about. Some allow overnight parking, but rarely have the means, such as energy / water / waste water into the home. Even if it does not happen overnight parking, which apparentlyd be able to stay there for hours for a nap.

There are RV facilities almost never at night in the city centers (where) in the RV's sleep. In addition, most cities prohibit overnight parking of vehicles engaged on public roads. This means that you have to spend the night somewhere outside the city and go during the day.

Many parking garages in major cities will not accept a camper, but the staff in the day near the spot where you parked all the places in / near downtown.

Be very hot in July and August throughout the southern United States, and hot and humid in the southeast. Wear light-colored clothing made of cotton. Hats and SUNGALSSES are important.

Check your insurance to see whether it covers the United States. If so, take your proof of coverage and usually know how to complain about. If not, are not correct or not sure, then travel insurance provider. It is cheap and sold by airlines and travel AGParents.

Finally, Australian citizens can visit the United States without a visa up to 90 days in the Visa Waiver Program. I know that you plan your trip coming years, but check the conditions of entry, one year before leaving the house:

First you have ever shared an RV? Living with another pair can be easily overlooked. Do you have experience with an RV? How can one bank account? Remember that driving on the wrong side of the road. I want to hear of your wreck, because they lived on the streets of Australia were. RV Having'm in a big city can be a big mistake. If you look for bigger. It would be wise to rent the RV park and a small gasoline engine tour.
Please do you and your fellow passengers a favor, do not try to drive all night, were all tired at the same time. Even drivers of large trucks to rest. Check the maps, the United States to think far more important than people. Could be achieved in one day from Texas. That makes a total of 8 hours driving. We Americans are very gregarious. Most are polite, but some can be quite unpleasant. Here are some links to help you:
